We are a Microsoft-affiliated company that has been helping businesses and private clients in Japan and abroad with their technical knowledge needs. We specialise in teaching Microsoft products and services ranging from Microsoft 365 to Azure services, and the knowledge and expertise to train and help you gain the skillset you want!

Chigusa Jones – CEO
Chigusa Jones is the CEO of VoltEdge Learning, based in Kahoku, Ishikawa, Japan. She has a diverse background, having moved to Ishikawa 10 years ago for work and spending two years in the United States. She is originally from Hakodate, Hokkaido, and is a mother of four.
Chigusa emphasizes continuous learning and gratitude for new opportunities. Her company offers a range of services, including IT skill development, new employee training, English conversation programs, and social media management. Despite initially not having a formal education in IT, she has successfully navigated the industry and leads her company with a focus on daily learning and seizing new possibilities – just as she has been doing.
Joshua Jones – Director of Training, MCT Regional Lead & Microsoft MVP
At VoltEdge Learning, Joshua’s role as Director of Training encapsulates a commitment to advancing tech education through Microsoft platforms, ranging from AI to Azure to end user adoption. The synergy between his multilingual fluency and technical certifications is key to his mission to make technology accessible across language barriers. Aside from preparing and directing trainings, he is also a full-time trainer.
Joshua’s journey as an IT Instructor at various IT businesses was marked by enabling students to navigate the complexities of IT with clarity and confidence. Their united efforts resulted in fostering a robust learning environment where Japanese and English served as dual conduits for technological empowerment. His career has largely revolved around educating others in some fashion, and he truly does think it is his calling and passion.
Josh Bowers – MCT Trainer
From starting off in retail to teaching English as a foreign language in Japan, Josh’s journey has rewarded him with a variety of skills and experience that can be used in almost any environment. However, none were as rewarding to him as improving his IT knowledge and using what he knows to teach others, culminating in his position as a Microsoft Certified Trainer at “VoltEdge Learning” in Japan.
Josh’s position at VoltEdge Learning enables him to give clients the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully use Microsoft products and services in the business environment. His methods incorporate a mixture of interactivity, fun, and professionalism, resulting in a unique learning experience that anyone can enjoy.
On his journey, he also gained some Japanese language skills, enabling him to expand his horizons beyond the restriction of English-speaking countries. Moving forward, he has dedicated himself to continue his journey of expanding his knowledge and skills to help others in the IT industry.
